BC Ferries terminals seeing big crowds

TSAWWASSEN (NEWS1130) – Lineups and crowds at BC Ferries terminals Monday morning after all evening sailings were cancelled on Sunday.
The 7:00am sailing was full by 4:30am, other sailings also cued up quickly.
“We got here and the seven was full and the nine was already 81 per cent full, we’re going to be waiting a bit but at least we got up early enough to get here for the 9,” says Scott who got up early to try and get on.
BC Ferries has added some sailings to accommodate those who became stuck Sunday evening.
Spokesperson Deborah Marshall is warning people to plan for crowds throughout the day though.
“We would advise our customers that we do expect to be busy because of the sailing cancellations so do arrive at the terminals early,” she explains.
Any reservations for a cancelled sailings will be refunded.
