They’re throwing the Canyon Lights switch this weekend

NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The holiday season is a great time to play ‘tourist in your own home town.’
You will have a blast this Saturday when they throw the switch on the annual Canyon Lights show – just one of the great events you’ll find on our Christmas Light’s Spotter at News1130.com.
Along with a 152 feet living Christmas tree right in the centre of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park – you will also get to experience a whole lot of winter wonderland excitement.
Stacy Chala, Capilano Communications Manager, tells News1130 that you will see hundreds of thousands of lights twinkling throughout the rainforest, as you make your way across the Suspension Bridge and on CLIFFWALK, the Park’s newest attraction.
And always a ton of events for the whole family like the reindeer scavenger hunt for children, gingerbread cookie decorating, craft making, glass blowing demonstrations with Malcolm Macfayden and sing-a-long carols with the holiday band.
