Tense testimony at Surrey Six trial

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The ex-girlfriend of one of the accused at the Surrey Six trial has testified about a tense series of events the day of the execution-style killings.
The witness we can only call KM has described how guns were being cleaned in their apartment earlier in the day.
She says the accused killers left the suite, and when they returned, the mood was tense.
KM told the court she saw her boyfriend Cody Haevischer write “people died” on a whiteboard.
She says she also found a number of cell phones being boiled in a pot of water.
She testified she was told to do what Haevischer’s brother says and eventually helped him burn a laundry bag in an empty lot.
When she returned, she says she was told to pack a suitcase and left the apartment with Haevischer and his brother.
Her testimony is scheduled to continue.
