Canucks recall Weber; host Colorado

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks are at home this afternoon to the Colorado Avalanche.
The team has recalled defencman Yannick Weber. He has seven points in seven games with the Utica Comets.
The Canucks are riding a three game winning streak. They ended their road trip with wins in Carolina and Nashville before winning the first game of their five game home stand against Phoenix on Friday.
The Avs have not won at Rogers Arena in five straight visits. Colorado has won six of its last eight games.
They’re ending a three game trip through Western Canada. They lost to the Oilers 8-2 on Thursday and dumped the Flames 3-2 on Friday.
The Canucks will have to be careful not to give up the first goal. The Avalanche are undefeated this season (17-0-0) when they score first.
