Countdown to Christmas with beer

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – How do you enjoy a Christmas Advent calendar if you don’t have a sweet tooth?

Have no fear, you can buy a Advent calendar filled with beer.

Happy holidays says Matt Lockhart with Phillips Brewery. “The Advent calendar, we just kind of looked to Christmas and thought it would be a fun project.”

Trouble is, you probably have to wait until next year before you can actually buy one.

Lockhart says there was a little more demand than they expected and they sold out right away.

He says they’ll be better prepared next year.
