One pair may be behind Surrey car-jacking and stabbing

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Mounties in Surrey are looking for a man and a woman they believe may be behind a car-jacking and stabbing last night.
Both incidents happened just a couple of blocks and minutes apart.
It all started at an Esso gas station at King George Boulevard and 104th Avenue, where police say an Indo-Canadian couple ordered a driver out of his van with a weapon similar to a machete.
Staff Sergeant Murray Hedderson says as they were getting into the van, the pair was approached by two other men and they started fighting.
“One of the two males got into the van and drove off. The Indo-Canadian male and female were last seen walking off southbound on King George Boulevard and the lone other white male was last seen walking off northbound,” he tells us.
The original driver of the van wasn’t hurt.
Ten minutes later at King George and 106th Avenue, a man was stabbed in the stomach by an Indo-Canadian couple. He’s in stable condition in hospital.
