Canadian Tire recalls some holiday lights

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Canadian Tire has voluntarily recalled some of its holiday lights.
The lights, called Holiday Collections 100 Outdoor M5 Mini LED Christmas Lights, assorted colours, may have a manufacturing defect which can pose a potential safety hazard.
Consumers are being advised to stop using the lights immediately and take them back to Canadian Tire for a full refund.
The recalled mini lights were sold from September to November with the product number 151-0781 and model number: LED-18-QY3-100/4-W-S17.
Approximately 875 boxes of the affected lights were sold at Canadian Tire locations across the country.
So far there have been no reports of injuries or property damage caused by the lights.
