Man hit by car in Richmond, hospitalized

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) – A 35-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being hit by a car in Richmond.

He was crossing No. 1 near Blundell Rd. last night around 11:00 when he was struck.

He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and had to undergo surgery.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

Speed is not considered a factor.
