Fiery train derailment in New Brunswick

PLASTER ROCK, NB (NEWS1130) – About two dozen homes in northwestern New Brunswick have been evacuated after a CN freight train carrying crude oil and propane derailed and caught fire near the community of Plaster Rock.
Jim Feeny, a spokesman for CN, says the eastbound train was carrying dangerous goods, including crude oil and propane.
Sixteen cars derailed, 15 of them were near the back of the train.
Feeny says four of the cars were carrying crude oil, four of them were carrying propane.
He says the regularly scheduled freight train was headed to Moncton from Central Canada when it ran into trouble around 7 p.m. about 150 kilometres northwest of Fredericton.
Police and other emergency responders were at the site.
There have been no deaths reported.
