Arrest made in 2012 murder in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS (NEWS1130) – Kamloops RCMP have made an arrest in the 2012 murder of a teen girl.

Damian Lawrence Taylor, 22, has been charged in connection with the death of CJ Fowler. She was 16 at the time of her death.

The Terrace teenager was visiting Kamloops when her body was found in a ravine in December of 2012.

RCMP Supt. Brad Mueller says Taylor and Fowler appeared to have been dating at the time of her death.

Taylor is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
