Charges laid in weekend Vancouver stabbing

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A Surrey man has been charged following a weekend stabbing in Downtown Vancouver.

It happened early Sunday morning at Davie and Hamilton Street. Two men were taken to hospital.

Vithna Andrew Va, 24, has been charged with assault causing bodily  harm, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He’s been released until his next court appearance on February 19th.
