EVERETT, Wash. (NEWS1130) – An Amber Alert has been issued in Washington State for a newborn baby who police say could be in “grave danger.”

Police are looking for the child’s mother, Roshell Marie Turner, 31, who gave birth on January 27.

According to KOMO News, officials from Child Protective Services believe the baby “needs immediate medical attention.”

The missing child, who police are referring to as Babu Doe, is just 17 days old.

Police say Turner is a heavy methamphetamine user, and her child has potentially severe medical issues due to the drug use.

A number of children have already been removed from Turner’s care.

She is white, 5’5″ tall and weighs 190 pounds. She has brown eyes and black mid-length hair and has a rose tattoo on her upper right chest.
