One dead, one injured in crossbow attack

MISSION (NEWS1130) – One man is in hospital and another is dead after a bizarre crossbow attack in Mission last night.
A witness at the Mission Station Grill called 9-1-1 after seeing a man being shot with the crossbow in the parking lot.
The 24-year-old was hit in the shoulder and chest.
RCMP Constable Amanda Harnett says a 60-year-old man then shot himself in the head with the crossbow and died. “I cannot say that in my experience that I have ever dealt with something like this before. The members that attended the scene were definitely shocked by what they saw and are just really glad the other victim is expected to make a full recovery.”
She adds the motive is believed to be an ongoing dispute between the two and an autopsy is expected.
