IHIT takes over investigation after body found in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – Homicide investigators have taken over the case of a body found in Abbotsford over the weekend.

The remains were discovered yesterday morning along the Fraser River near Walters Street.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says they still don’t know the identity of body, nor how the person died.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call IHIT at 1-877-551-4448.
