VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A lot of music events going on this weekend, but that’s not all. Some of the events could be considered out of this world!

The Giants host the Rockets Saturday night at the Pacific Coliseum.

The 36th annual Vancouver International Wine Festival is on this weekend at various locations around town. Stop by for a sip of nearly 1800 wines from all around the world.

Wynton Marsalis plays the Chan Centre Saturday night.

Hear Beethoven’s Ninth symphony this weekend performed by the VSO at The Orpheum.

Vancouver Opera presents Don Giovanni Saturday night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Festival du Bois, the largest francophone festival on the West Coast, is on this weekend at Mackin Park in Coquitlam.

The HR MacMillan Space Centre presents: Galaxies Greatest Hits on Saturday night. Stop by and see how the Space Centre uses music from space movies with images of Vancouver and the world.

The Pacific Agriculture Show wraps up on Saturday at the Tradex in Abbotsford.

Come up to Mount Seymour Saturday for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Yukigassen — or snow battle, and help raise money for Cancer.

The Vancouver Diversity Health Fair is on Saturday at the Croation Cultural Centre on Commercial. Admission is free.

The 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic is on Sunday at BC Place.

The Rain City Oscar Party takes place Sunday night at Vancity Theatre.

The 2014 Chutzpah! Festival is on until March 9th at various venues around Vancouver. Check it out and enjoy some wonderful art, dance and music.

Check out Fly Over Canada at Canada Place. It’s a multi-demential trip around the country.

Check out the Baker’s Market on Sunday at the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre. There will be tasty treats and gluten-free items too. Admission is free.

The Kids Camp Expo is on Sunday at Heritage Hall on Main.
