Twitterverse lights up over Canucks hitting rock-bottom

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – You could call it a slump, but that time may have passed about four or five games ago.

The Canucks’ last two months of woe have their fans buzzing about the future — and not in a good way.

The team has fallen far and fast over the past month, going from destroying opponents in December to a new year filled with one win in their last 12 games.

The latest drubbing at the hands of the Dallas Stars had the Twitterverse buzzing last night, with tweets like:

“Are we looking at a total overhaul in #Vancouver for the #Canucks next year?”

“Ok jokes over, can we have Luongo and coach V back now?”

and even worse:

“Now I know what it’s like to be a Leafs fan .. ouch …”

To make things worse, the Canucks’ top prospect, Bo Horvat, apparently injured his knee in the London Knights’ win in the OHL.
