Vancouver Canucks ticket prices plummet

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – If you’d like to take in a Vancouver Canucks game for a deep discount, now’s your chance. The team’s terrible season has turned into a great opportunity.
Mario Livich with Showtime Tickets says fans are heartbroken the Canucks have lost high-profile players and a lot of games, so they’re dumping their tickets.
“We’ve been seeing them spiralling downward for the last month or so, and right now they’re about half of the box-office price, below 40 dollars for the balcony and lower level seats are below 100 dollars each,” says Livich.
Lots of parents seem to be taking advantage of the prices as spring break approaches and booking games with their kids, according to Livich. “This is the best opportunity, best value for buying Canucks tickets in many years. Whenever a price gets low in a marketplace, it just enables more people to get into the market.”
Livich says right now it’s a buyer’s market with four sellers for every person looking for a ticket.
