VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed at a hotel in Downtown Vancouver last night.
Around 8:30 p.m., police were called to reports of a fight inside a suite at the St. Helen’s Hotel at Granville and Davie Streets. When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man in the lobby with a life-threatening stab wound to his neck.
“St. Helen’s Hotel is a long-term stay facility. We believe that at least one of the men were living inside the hotel at the time… living in the room that the night broke out in,” says VPD Sergeant Randy Fincham.
Early this morning, police arrested two men in their twenties.
All three men are from Vancouver.
Both suspects are known to police, but charges have yet to be laid.
