Freak hailstorm chills Tri-Cities

PORT MOODY (NEWS 1130) – A strange spring event had people rethinking their move back to all-season tires.

Some truly wacky weather left many streets in Port Moody and Coquitlam covered in deep hail late Friday afternoon.

Thunder storms rolled through in the afternoon, dropping hail and heavy rain in those spots and Maple Ridge, Aldergrove and Abbotsford.
