Public warning about high-risk sex offender living in Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Police are warning the public about Dawson Davidson, a convicted sex offender who is now living in a Vancouver halfway house.
Davidson, 53, recently completed a two-year sentence for sexual assault. He has been deemed a risk to the safety of women and is a moderate to high risk of sexual re-offending.
Davidson is white, 5’8″, and 180lbs. He has long brown hair and hazel eyes.
Conditions of his release are:
- not to be alone in any isolated setting with any female
- avoid sex trade workers and do not attend any location where sex trade workers are known to be
- curfew 9 p.m. until 7 a.m.
- no weapons
- not to attend the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, B.C.
- not to purchase, possess or consume alcohol or non-prescription drugs
If you see Davidson violating these conditions, you’re asked to call 9-1-1 right away.
