Surrey man charged in Vancouver stabbing death

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A man has been charged, accused of stabbing a man to death on Vancouver’s Commercial Drive last year.
The evening October 12, 2017, people near East 1st Avenue noticed a man lying on the ground, suffering from stab wounds. They performed First Aid until paramedics got there.
Joseph Jandrew, 33, of Vancouver later died in the hospital.
At the time, police said it was believed to be a targeted attack.
Ranjit Sangha has now been arrested. The 47-year-old from Surrey has been charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody.
