SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A two-car crash in Surrey on Saturday night has left two pedestrians suffering serious injuries.
The Surrey RCMP says a Ford and Acura collided at the intersection of Fraser Highway and 148th Street soon after 6.30 p.m., and one of the vehicles then went on to slam into two people who were walking nearby.
The man and woman, both aged 50, were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Mounties say while it’s early in their investigation, they don’t believe alcohol or drugs are to blame, and have confirmed that both drivers stayed on the scene to help with the investigation.
