Burnaby man convicted of harassing ex-wife through revenge website charged again

BURNABY (NEWS 1130) — A Burnaby man convicted of criminally harassing his ex-wife through a revenge website has been charged for a breach of probation.
NEWS 1130 contacted RCMP after the website appeared to have resurfaced. RCMP confirm Patrick Fox was arrested Thursday and is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

In 2017, a jury found him guilty of harassing his ex-wife Desiree Capuano through threatening emails and a website that called her names and attacked her character. Fox was also found guilty of possessing firearms without being authorized to do so.
Police say he potentially faces three additional charges for breaching his probation order.
Fox spent less than two years in prison and was released on probation with a number of conditions including a prohibition of publishing any comments or information regarding his ex-wife, her partner, and any of their friends.
He was also banned from using the internet unless for the purpose of employment or sending personal emails, was not allowed to leave B.C. nor be within 100 metres of the U.S. border.
Fox also received a lifetime firearms ban.
