Hundreds fill Richmond church to remember pastor killed in crash

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) — Family members and friends filled a Richmond church Saturday morning to celebrate the life of Pastor Tom Cheung who was killed in a fiery crash at the Peace Arch crossing in May.

Pastor Tom Cheung was travelling across the border when his van was hit by a speeding car and burst into flames.

His son Benjamin remembered his father, calling him a man who was well loved and respected by all.

“Tom was a man of integrity, a man of his words, humble and kind, loved God and people, and was trusting and obeying to the Lord,” he says.
