TORONTO (NEWS 1130) – A Netflix subscription could cost you a little more as the streaming giant raises some of its prices again.

Existing members will be notified about the price increase via email and the Netflix app 30 days before the new prices are applied to them, it adds.
Netflix has cancelled some of its programming recently due to COVID-19 pandemic-related issues, including “Glow,” “The Society” and “I Am Not Okay With This.”
The streaming giant says it’s implementing the price increase so it “can invest more in films and shows as well as the quality of members’ product experience.”
Netflix last raised its prices in Canada in November of 2018. The basic plan was bumped up by a dollar at the time to $9.99, while the standard and premium plans were both upped by $3 to 13.99 and 16.99 respectively.
