Canada-wide warrant issued for Vancouver dangerous offender

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a serious offender who failed to return to his halfway house in Vancouver, police say.

Jeremy George, 35, is currently serving a long-term supervision order and was released to the halfway house with strict conditions, including a nightly curfew.

When he didn’t return home on Monday, a warrant for his arrest was issued by the Vancouver Police Department.

Vancouver police say George has a history of committing serious, dangerous offences and if you see him you are warned to not approach him and instead call 9-1-1 immediately.

He’s described as Indigenous with short black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’10”, and weighs approximately 200 lbs. Police say he has a skull tattoo on his right shoulder, “hell” tattooed on his right forearm, and “hellrazor” tattooed on his chest.
