Vancouver cosmetic clinic worker charged with sexual assault, voyeurism

A worker at a Downtown Vancouver cosmetic clinic is accused of sexually assaulting one of his clients and taking pictures of another while she was naked.

Ali Aghasardar has been charged with sexual assault and voyeurism in relation to these cases which allegedly took place in 2019.

“One person came forward and reported being sexually assaulted during laser hair removal appointments at Dermabella Clinic, located near Howe and Smithe streets,” reads a statement from Vancouver police.

“During the investigation, detectives identified a second victim who had allegedly been photographed while naked and receiving treatment at the clinic.”

Police say a court-ordered condition means the Aghasardar is currently not allowed to be alone with any patient or client without another adult present. Dermabella Clinic told CityNews he stopped working there several months ago.

Police are urging anyone who might have information investigators need to know about to contact the VPD Sex Crimes Unit at 604-717-0601.
