A pair of high school students’ art pieces have been stolen from an art display in the Tri-Cities area. Some students intended to help raise funds for the students’ scholarships and post-secondary school applications.
The artwork was displayed at a local High School art display in the Coquitlam Centre shopping mall.
However, over a week, two pieces of art were stolen from the kiosk.
Coquitlam RCMP responded to a theft report at Coquitlam Centre on May 31 around 6:45 p.m.
“A number of students put months of work into the art pieces,” Corporal Paige Kuz said. “We are asking the public to be aware these invaluable pieces were stolen in hopes of returning them to their owners.”
Suspects have not been identified.
