Cyclist killed in Downtown Vancouver crash involving semi truck

Vancouver police say a cyclist has died following a crash involving a semi truck Wednesday morning in Downtown Vancouver.

Police were called to Pacific Street at Hornby Street around 7:45 a.m. to the collision, and confirmed that a person on a bicycle did not survive.

The VPD Collision Investigation Unit is on scene, and traffic is closed in the area as of 11:00 a.m. Pacific is blocked westbound from Howe Street to Hornby Street.
