Surrey woman hurt after shots fired at Fleetwood home

A woman has been hurt after someone opened fire at a home in Surrey’s Fleetwood neighbourhood early Friday morning.
The Surrey RCMP says the shooting happened just after 3:30 a.m. near 86 Avenue and 151 B Street.
The 40-year-old woman was inside the home at the time and was injured. Her injuries are described as non-life-threatening and she’s said to be in stable condition.
While Mounties say they were still trying to determine a possible motive for the shooting.
According to the RCMP, officers are looking for a man who was dressed all in black and was carrying a backpack and a flashlight. They believe the suspect fled on foot and anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to check to see if they may have caught the suspect on video.
