Man dies after Yaletown stabbing

A man is dead after a stabbing in Vancouver’s Yaletown neighbourhood.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. in the area of Smithe and Homer streets, a busy commercial area of the downtown core.
The 29-year-old victim was found with what police now call “grave injuries.”
The victim has been hospitalized with serious injuries. A suspect is in custody, but no further details have been released.
“The man was taken to hospital, but he died a short time later,” reads a statement from Vancouver police.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested nearby and remains in custody.
