False Creek standoff leads to arrest
Vancouver Police have arrested one man after an hours-long standoff in False Creek near Science World on Tuesday afternoon.

A standoff on False Creek in Vancouver lasted hours Tuesday afternoon.
About a dozen Vancouver police vehicles were on scene near Science World. An emergency response unit then went in by boat and began negotiating with someone on a vessel.
One person was eventually taken into custody.
Police haven’t shared details, but say there was no risk to the public.
