Massey Tunnel clear after overturned truck caused delays

An overturned truck southbound on Highway 99 is caused major delays through Delta Thursday, after it spilled a load of debris all over the road, just after Highway 17A.

Traffic was reduced to a single lane while crews assess the situation. The ramp from southbound Highway 17A to southbound Highway 99 was also closed for a time.

The highway has since reopened.

Motorists were delayed well into the evening, and had to use the Alex Fraser Bridge as an alternate route.
