Surrey shooting leaves one person in Cloverdale seriously hurt

A man has been seriously hurt after a shooting in Surrey’s Cloverdale neighbourhood.

The RCMP says officers were called to the area of Angus Place, west of 172 Street, around 5:30 a.m. Thursday for reports that a man was hurt. When first responders arrived, a 35-year-old was found shot.

The man was taken to the hospital with what have been described as serious but not life-threatening injuries.

No motive has been identified in this shooting.

Investigators are looking for dashcam or CCTV footage from the area. No suspects or vehicles related to this incident have been identified.
