Vancouver Police investigating Killarney area homicide

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says it is investigating a homicide in the Killarney neighbourhood alongside the Burnaby RCMP.

The incident took place last night, and was initially reported to CityNews as a “serious assault” near Burnaby’s Central Park.

A VPD release says officers were called to Boundary Road and 45th Avenue around 10 p.m. after receiving reports a man had been stabbed.

VPD says 22-year-old Caleb Morin was found injured and later died.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is still ongoing.

VPD asks anyone with information to call it’s Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.
