Homicide investigators have identified the man who died in West Vancouver earlier this month, and are now looking to the public to identify two potential suspects.
Police were called to an underground parking lot at a waterside building on Argyle Avenue just before 5 p.m. on March 21.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says when police officers arrived, they found 55-year-old Dr. Francis Este, who had been stabbed.
Despite the efforts of first responders, IHIT says Este died at the scene.
“Witnesses reported a suspect fleeing the area on foot, eastbound on Argyle Avenue,” IHIT explains, adding CCTV footage has helped investigators establish two suspects.

They are now publicly identifying Este “in an effort to build a timeline of his activities leading up to the homicide.”
Sgt. Timothy Pierotti is also asking anyone who recognizes either of the two suspects to contact IHIT.

“We believe this was a targeted incident that may be related to other events involving Dr. Este throughout the past few months,” Pierotti said. “Anyone with information about these previous events is asked to contact IHIT.”
IHIT adds Este was “not known to police.”
