Burnaby RCMP wants help finding suspect in alleged indecent act

Mounties in Burnaby are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect who is believed to have committed an indecent act at a coffee shop earlier this month.

The Burnaby RCMP says it happened on the afternoon of Sept. 8, around 1:30 p.m. at a cafe on Kingsway, near Metrotown Mall. Police say the man allegedly performed the act underneath a table while making eye contact with a victim.

The RCMP says the victim called the police immediately after the incident, but the suspect had left before officers arrived.

The suspect is described by police as between 60 and 70 years old with some facial hair, and balding grey hair. He was last seen wearing a white linen long-sleeve shirt, matching white linen pants, a grey vest, and brown dress shoes.
