Pro-Palestinian march makes its way through Downtown Vancouver
Hundreds of people marched through downtown Vancouver Friday, continuing calls for a ceasefire in Gaza as the Israel-Hamas war rages on.
The pro-Palestinian march wound its way through the city’s streets, at one point blocking Georgia Street as it headed toward BC Place.
Protesters also made their way down Hamilton and Smithe streets, before returning to the Art Gallery,
Traffic cameras in the area showed a large crowd of people, many of them waving Palestinian flags and holding up signs. This was the latest in a series of rallies calling for an immediate ceasefire.
Another protest is planned at the Vancouver Art Gallery for Saturday, starting at 2 p.m.
