Armed robbery attempt in Burnaby: police

The Burnaby RCMP says it responded to an attempted armed robbery Saturday night.
Just before 7 p.m., police say they were called to a business near the intersection of Kingsway and 10th Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers say all the businesses in the area were secure and it appeared as if the suspect had fled the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say it’s currently unclear if anything was taken.
No injuries were reported.
