Expect Oak Street delays for rest of March as crews repave roadway

Drivers should be prepared for delays if they use the Oak Street Bridge in Vancouver.

Crews are back at the intersection of Oak Street and 70th Avenue, as crews repave a section of the roadway.

The City of Vancouver says crews will be there through March 30.

It comes after the intersection saw months of closures due to sewer work upgrades last year.

The city says commuters should expect temporary lane closures, detours, and delays while paving is underway. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO 1130 NEWSRADIO VANCOUVER LIVE!

“Oak St open with minimum one lane traffic at all times,” the CoV says on its website. “Eastbound W 70th Ave closed, between Osler St and Shaughnessy St, with a detour in place at Granville St.”
