Police investigate overnight stabbing in Surrey’s Newton neighbourhood

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating a stabbing in Newton Saturday evening.

Officers were called to the area of 142nd Street and 66th Avenue shortly before 11 p.m.



When they arrived, they found a man who was suffering from stab wounds.

Emergency crews attended the scene and took the man to hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect was arrested close to the area and was also taken to hospital.
