A Lower Mainland restaurant chain was the target of a shooting Monday, for the second time in a little over a week.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says officers responded to reports of shots fired at an Ustaad G76 Indian restaurant location on King George Boulevard near 156 Street around 2:20 a.m.

On Sept. 27, another Ustaad G76 location was targeted by gunfire. The Ridge Meadows RCMP responded around 3 a.m. to the restaurant on Lougheed Highway near 218 Street in Maple Ridge.
“Frontline officers attended and extensively patrolled the area before locating evidence of multiple shots being fired at a business in the area. No injuries were reported,” Mounties said last week.
Police in Surrey remain on scene investigating Monday morning.
