Senior in stable condition after attack on Vancouver transit bus

A senior is in stable condition after an incident on a Coast Mountain Bus in Vancouver Tuesday morning.

Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTP) and the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) say they were called to a bus near Hastings Street and the Kootenay bus loop around 10 a.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a senior suffering from stab wounds, the MVTP says. He was taken to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services.

Police say there are currently no suspects in custody.
