Man injured following early morning shooting in Cloverdale, Surrey police say

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating after a man was found injured following a shooting in the Cloverdale neighbourhood early Wednesday morning.

Officers say they were called to a home in the area of 60 Avenue and 177 Street shortly before 4 a.m. after two people were reportedly shot at.

The SPS says the suspects fled the scene.

The man did not require medical attention, police say.

Investigators say they will remain in the area processing evidence Wednesday.

“The investigation is in its early stages,” the SPS said.

“However, it is believed to be targeted and not extortion-related.”

Anyone with information or video footage is asked to call the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and refer to file 26-85268 (SP).
