Three people were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle collision on the Alex Fraser Bridge southbound late Thursday evening, BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) says.
Crews were called to the area shortly before midnight.
“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment and transported three patients to hospital, two in serious but stable condition, and one in stable condition,” said Brian Twaites, paramedic public information officer.

The Delta Police Department says a total of nine vehicles were involved in the crash.
“Police are still working to determine the cause of the collision, but witnesses stated that there was an initial collision between two vehicles, followed by a chain reaction of other vehicles that were not able to stop in time before colliding themselves,” police said.
“Impaired driving has been ruled out, but speed may be a contributing factor. The incident is still under investigation.”
Anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to call the Delta Police at 604-946-4411.
