Man taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after shooting in Cloverdale

Mounties in Surrey are investigating a shooting in Cloverdale that left one man injured with non-life-threatening injuries.
Just after 8:30 a.m. Saturday, they responded to reports of a man suffering from a gun shot wound at an encampment on 180th Street and 53rd Avenue.
The man was then taken to hospital.
“The Surrey RCMP General Investigations Unit has conduct of the investigation, and investigators are working to determine all of the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” Mounties said said in a news release.
“Evidence-gathering is still underway, but initial indications are this was a targeted, isolated incident.”
