David joined the 1130 News Radio team in 2022 and is a graduate of the BCIT Broadcast and Journalism program. David has always enjoyed working with the human voice through reporting, radio dramas, and audiobooks. He has worked on stories such as the 2024 atmospheric river event and the Lapu-Lapu Day festival attack. Born and raised on B.C.'s West Coast, his favourite part of the job is connecting with new people everyday across the province. When he's not anchoring, you can catch David chasing the latest news tip or upcoming event.
