About Raynee
Raynee is a Vancouver Island-born, New Westminster-raised journalist with over five years of experience as a reporter in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island.
After graduating from Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Journalism program, Raynee made the leap to Vancouver Island and joined the Comox Valley Record newsroom. While in her reporting role, she covered everything from the release of marmots on Mount Washington, cults operating in the Comox Valley and features on various musicians.
Raynee spends her off time with her rescue dog, Bosch, going on adventures and attending as many concerts as possible - typically in the punk and emo genre. She is an avid reader, record collector and paddleboarder.
