HWY 1 westbound lanes near Port Mann Bridge cleared after crash

A multi-vehicle crash, including an on-fire vehicle, forced the temporary closure of westbound lanes along Highway 1 near the Port Mann Bridge between Surrey and Coquitlam Monday morning.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio reported the incident, located at the Cape Horn Interchange just past the bridge, around 6:20 a.m.

In an update just after 8 a.m., DriveBC said all westbound lanes had reopened, but congestion continues.

Traffic is snarled throughout the area after other incidents, including a crash and a stalled vehicle on the Port Mann Bridge itself.
