Drug lab bust in Surrey townhouse complex

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Surrey RCMP are in the process of busting what they describe as a “clandestine drug lab” on 150th Street near 107th Avenue. Sergeant Roger Morrow says three people–one woman and two men–have been arrested, after the lab was discovered in a townhouse apartment complex.
Morrow says all three are known to police, and one of the men arrested today is already before the courts for previous drug lab charges.
Morrow wouldn’t confirm how police were tipped off about the lab, but he did say it was very dangerous in a residential and school area, because the chemicals involved are odourless and colourless, and potentially lethal. However, Morrow did assure the public that as of right now, all the chemicals in the first floor suite are stable.
